A company,
building something quiet.
NU._.IRA is a wellness technology company based in Kelowna, British Columbia. We design a wearable device called the NU._.IRA Band and an AI companion called Awen, together a single quiet loop of self-discovery, breath, and nervous system regulation.
The name is NUIRA, said new-EAR-ah, and written NU._.IRA. The company is NUIRA Technologies Inc., and nuira.io is the only official NUIRA site. The stops in the wordmark are a breath: a pause, a held beat, and a return.
The work began with a deliberate team and one question: why does almost every wearable measure the body without ever translating it? The first run of the NU._.IRA Band is limited on purpose, because the people in the first run will shape what comes next.
We build under one trademark, Kindness is the Bridge.™, and one principle that comes before any other: that the technology should bring you closer to yourself, not further away.
Three lines, in plain.
Your data, handled the way it should be.
NU._.IRA sits close to some of the most personal information you have. Your heart, your breath, your sleep, your reflections. Most of it we never see at all, and the rest we treat with the weight it deserves.
What stays on your phone.
Your journal, your food log, and your session detail stay on your phone and are not stored on our servers. When you talk to Awen, or Awen draws on your journal, that content is sent securely to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not store it on our servers.
What is on our servers.
The profile you filled in when you set up, your assessment results, and weekly averages such as your typical sleep hours, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability. That is the list. Nothing you have written, and nothing from inside a session.
Who can see it.
You. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not allow third parties to mine it. If that ever changes you will hear it from us first, and you will be able to leave with your data intact.
Your right to be forgotten.
Delete your account at any time and your data is permanently removed. We keep only a record of your consent, as the law requires. Your journal and food log were never ours to delete, they live and die on your device.
Come wear one.
Discover yourself, and grow with us.
